We seek creative industrial product designers, architects and engineers who strive to do what others think is the impossible. If you have a minimum of a four-year degree in a relevant discipline plus four years of practical experience, we welcome your inquiry.
We also seek out graduates looking for internships. Our firm believes that internships are a valuable experience for passionate graduates in industrial design, architecture and engineering. We offer paid internships for a minimum of six months once a year.

Open Position - Project Coordinator
Overview
Tactile Materials, is a global leader in the design engineering and production of materials for inspired architecture. We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Mumbai, India office. The position requires the coordination of design|engineering documents and quality control for a range of small to large scale projects the US and overseas.
We are seeking a positive person who is creative, thinks outside the box and accepts and adapts to change. An accomplished Project Coordinator has the opportunity for growth within our project management team.
Education, experience and baseline requirements
- Ability to travel both domestically and abroad.
- Fluent in English both written and spoken. Additional language skills desirable.
- Highly competent in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD and general programs. Additional computer skills desirable.
- Degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or relevant subject.
- Internship experience in a related field during studies desirable.
Skill Set
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects at once.
- Read and evaluate construction plans, and specifications.
- Perform detailed component takeoffs in an efficient and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with procurement and product development teams.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

The position requires overall management of projects and P&L responsibility for a range of small to large scale projects the US and overseas.
We are seeking a positive person who is creative, thinks outside the box and accepts and adapts to change. An accomplished Project Manager has the opportunity for growth within our project management and operations team.
Education, experience and baseline requirements
- Ability to travel both domestically and abroad.
- Fluent in English both written and spoken. Additional language skills desirable.
- Highly competent in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD and general programs. Additional computer skills desirable.
- Degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or relevant subject.
- Five years of hands on experience in construction management.
Skill Set
- Client management skills, balancing customer needs with project financial performance.
- Collaborate with procurement, manage vendors to support project requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Read and evaluate construction plans, and specifications.
- Perform detailed project takeoffs in an efficient and accurate manner.
- Generate project estimates and cost to complete on a monthly basis.

The position requires the preparation of detailed takeoffs and estimates a range of small to large scale projects the US and overseas.
We are seeking a positive person who is creative, thinks outside the box and accepts and adapts to change. An accomplished estimator has the opportunity for growth within our estimating and project management team.
Education, experience and baseline requirements
- Ability to travel both domestically and abroad.
- Fluent in English both written and spoken. Additional language skills desirable.
- Highly competent in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD and general programs. Additional computer skills desirable.
- Degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or relevant subject.
- Minimum of five years hands on experience in construction estimating or engineering.
Skill Set
- Ability to estimate multiple projects at once.
- Read and evaluate construction plans, and specifications for potential projects.
- Evaluate and prepare work scope for estimating.
- Perform detailed takeoffs in an efficient and accurate manner.
